Search link

I've noticed that quite often people are posting in the forum saying they can't figure out where to go to download the videos. Now, I've always wondered why the hell people can't see the "search" link on the main page, and I think I got an idea about it now. When people see a "search" function on a page, its usually something to search content like news stories and such. So maybe people actually see the search link, but it just doesnt click with them that thats where they find the videos.

So, how about you change the link to read "Search Videos"? Also maybe move it up to the top of the menu?

You would think that but considering this isn't a news site and really there isn't anything to search for except for videos and members you would think they could figure it out.

Yeah, people should know what the button is for but I can't argue against moving it higher. My resolution is 1152x864 and from the members page I still have to scroll down to click the search button. (not that I'm lazy, I just think it would be more convienient.)

I dunno. Catering for stupid people isn't going to help the human race or a-m-v.org community all that much. As for conveinience, I feel more people should adapt the multi-function a-m-v.org sig. *see below*

What does <A HREF=http://www.a-m-v.org/>a-m-v.org</A> have to do with any of this?

About as much as the breeders of Irish Wombats. Now would you have said anything if I had typed "milti-function ORG sig"?
