Love
For my case, it takes an animated cartoon to get my thinking about life.

As I look at others comments about the movie, someone says that the girl is weird for doing what she did. Then a giant discussion is made about how love can really hurt one's self or others and that it would best that you shouldn't love at all.
Now being one who has never had a girlfriend(thus never had to experience a heartbreak or had to sacrifice anything for my love), I believe that if you don't take the chance at love, then you're not really living life to its fullest, and thus would make for a very dull life.
Anyone have an opinion on the subject?

Re: Love
I believe in love, more broadly than just in terms of romantic relationships. In that sense I have more faith in the concept of Christian love than I do in terms of romantic love despite being decidedly unreligious, if that makes any sense.
But sure, I'd do the whole romantic love - except that, sadly, women hate me. Fact.
(as long as we interpret "hate" as actually meaning "wouldn't even begin to take romantic interest in cause I'm obviously as promising a partner as [insert ludicrous parallel]").
I guess I should give up and shag birds instead
I should say though, this Valentine's day I will not be raging like I usually do. I don't really give a flying fuck anymore.
...wait. I guess that means I can't shag birds now, either.

The Birds are using humanity in order to throw something terrifying at this green pig. And then what happens to us all later, that’s simply not important to them…

Re: Love
I'm not a genius on the subject by any means, but this is how I see it.
Sacrifice is fine as long as one is reasonable but most importantly rational. In the case of draw with me her action was extremely rational. As otherwise she'd be crippling the only form of communication with another person that she's likely to ever have.
It all really comes down to "don't be stupid". If you care for someone its perfectly normal to be a little selfless. Just don't end up compromising yourself over it. Nor let the other person compromise themselves over you. All this stuff is more about enduring then to jump blindly into it all. So endure and only act when rational options arise in the given situation.
Also George, love is more then just romance.

Oddly, the tube version is better quality. I just ran into a version you can download (easily, and not having to convert from flv) today at amvnews.ru.
Anyway, love is like God. It only exists when you orgasm or are in misery.
