Single Ladies (Put a Ring on it)[Ranma 1/2]
Alrighty,
Well this is pretty much my 2nd time trying to lip sync about 90%+ of a video.....but i did think Ranma 1/2 fit this song perfectly
the lip syncing isn't exaclty great in much aspects but i dispise the "copy/paste" of a single mouth movement to try to attmept to get things to sync better.. cause it just looks shotty when you can tell the little piece was looped multiple times. i usually try to use the whole section of a clip if possible.
so i will most likely get ridaculed for shitty lipsyncing but i tend to go au natrueal when it comes to using such clips and scenes.
but if you can get past the mediocre attempt at the "lipsyncing" and can still enojy the video - that's really all that matters to me.

Video was cute. I'm been dying to see a video made with this song.
Constructive Crit:
1) Lip sync was pretty badly off. See this AMV for excellent Lip Sync. See how Haunter matched the syllables of each word with the movements of the mouth? That's the way lip sync is done. There's no shame in repeated scenes, especially if it looks good better otherwise. Or you could do some masking instead
2) Some scenes were really random... 1:56-2:08 was the biggest complaint in my mind. It had not much to do with the overall concept you were trying for.
Positive Remarks:
1) The dance segments were kind of on the right track.
It fit the mood of the song really well, but there just wasn't enough of it.

- i had this i dea for quite some time since i first heard the song...and ranma was the first show to pop into my head.i own the entire series on dvd but have never been successful in ripping the dvd's and keeping the quality so i missed out on eps i think would have been pretty good for the video.
one of my hardrives recently died so i lost a ton of stuff i happend to have....but i was lucky enought that a friend backed up my anime folder and for 2 years i had some Ranma specials that never got brought over on any of the dvd's so i used waht i could out of what i had...so i did have to put a few sorta "out of place" scenes in there but i tried to make it work with what i had.
and yeah the lipsync was the worst....and if there were more dancing scenes i would have definaley used them.....but it was that one danceing scene repeated a couple times in the special...but using the same scene again can be ok but is see it happen in soo many videos that using the same scene is boring....if the dance moves were different would have been awesome.
but thanks for even commenting - i always like to hear back on my videos. this isn't my best work (i have better videos) but being as nobody had done this to Ranma (or anything from that matter as i couldnt find anything by searching) i thought it was a good idea.
i might actually mask...if i had the time to learn how to do it - i know next to nothing in the way of effects or cool technics - which is why pretty much every one of my videos is kinda the bare basic editiong.... (while others have some flashing effects that i sorta figured out by mixing colors...taht's really the most i've ever done....and being work keeps me busy.
i did through this together in the span of approx 6hours...straight...but if i had more footage i'm sure i could have done at least a little better job
