Yeah... most groups I know of aren't looking for encoders... but let me say that some of the current encoders out there are total idiots. I told the guys in my group that if we ever need an encoder, find someone who makes HQ AMVs... because, quite frankly, there's no form of video I've seen on the net that can compete with the visual quality of AMVs.
What can I say? Us AMV creators are just sticklers for quality. Well, some of us anyway.

hmm im available and well trained :O
although fortunately the trend (on p2p networks) has switched from shitty divx 3.11 (not sbc) 352x240 videos to 640x480 and 512x384 sbc, divx5 and xvid I've noticed (love hina again & chobits for example) which is good.

At using AOL right

I too myself am having woes with Premiere, it will not export a Alpha channel for the life of it  Export in huffYUV +RGBA , Millions+ colors. No go, doesn't work using uncompressed RGBA either.

I tried it with a track matte and image matte. I also tried 6.0 and 6.5, both wouldn't export the alpha. After Effects works fine at exporting the Alpha and Premiere can read the alpha channel on the After Effects exported file.

Motherfucker... kick it's ass. I spent 3hrs on a effect that took me 20minutes to take last week, I just wanted to clean up some of the mattes that I had made.
