I think you get the picture. While he can sometimes have an offensive tone and step on the line between being polite and being an asshole, I don't think he did nearly enough for a 3 month ban. As referenced in given dialogue, various people on this forum insult each other and if every time this happened we had a 3, hell even 1 month ban, the forums would be pretty damn empty by now. I'm also assuming, of course, that Aaron, who has evolved into a full-time troll, part-time human, couldn't possibly take this in such a wrong way. Trolls are used to this kind of shit. And even if he did, he could grow some balls and get over it. I mean really, 3 month ban for insulting? Fucking bollocks.

The only other instance I can think of where Bacon "flamed" was on Kosmit's announcement thread, but that was more of an obvious joke related to the thread ("let the flaming begin") if anything and it's quite obvious from the posts below that it wasn't taken in a wrong way. So you can't speak about quantity of flaming, going around insulting everyone or anything either.

I call out the mod responsible for this, as well as Aaron to say if he found this insulting enough for a 3 month ban. As well as everyone else, for their opinion on if a 3 month ban for just about any insult seems proper. Unless we're insulting the Fuhrer or anything.

Seriously, bans longer than a week are usually reserved for repeat offenders. How the target of the flame feels often doesn't matter either, a flame is a flame regardless. Chances are fairly decent Aaron didn't even see the post.

Precisely. I just don't see how he's a persistent offender enough to earn a 3 month ban out of an insult of no importance. We've had our fun spamming pointless crap in the past so it's not to say his ban history is completely in the clear, but does that mean the invisimod should be waiting for an opportunity to jump on him for the first minor offense (which wasn't even really an offense, considering it wasn't going to any random person) and ban him for 3 months?
