I have to agree if your not in it only for the hot chicks then it is a really good movie, not to mention San doesn't look that bad. Not quite enough blood shed for me though.

It is not my favorite anime of all but ist is one of the best Movies out their know. I would have to say my number 2 of all time, next to the Street Fighter movie. But Mononoke is the the only anime movie that can go 2 hours and still hold my attention. Akira was 1/2 hour too long.

That's true, although I love Akira when you know what happens you just wish that the cool ending part would come.

Princess Monomoke was very good, I especially love the wee rock forest people things because they were so weird. It's definately not my favourite though but then again I couldn't choose one if I tried, they all do different things for me.

Did anyone not think that the deer god looked really silly during the day?

yea but during the night as "the night walker" he looked kickass, cept when he lost his head lol....anyway it's a good anime, as for akira.....well it's good but i supose it could lose some of the stupid parts and just get with the action lol.

Im not one of those animal rights type save the forest wackos, but even I can see how kick ass mononke is. yeah I have hte DVD, and I cannot recall how many thousands of times I have watched it subbed
