AMVapp + WinXP = Death!?

Post by SSJVegita0609 » Fri Dec 06, 2002 1:26 am

I'm following ye old guide to ripping dvds and I d/led AD's AMVapp_1 and begin instaling. Just when it looks like its okay and whatnot, I get a popup of death stating that the software has not been tested for XP usage and could quite possibly give my system quite the mindfuck. So my question is, does anyone know if AMVapp works alright on XP? Or will it screw my system?

Yes, it does... That's just stupid MS telling you that it's not their fault if your system goes fuxor. Which is shouldn't unless it's fuxored already.

I did tech support, we got that message all the time  People almost freak...

Also? What is a popup of death? Popup isn't that bad really, it's just alerting you. BSOD is a hard error which is very fatal.

Klinky, once again you have proven yourself extremely helpful. And popup of death was merely a figure of speech I used because I'm tired, and MS was making me frustrated. In any event, I actually haven't seen any BSOD's in a while thanks to my XP. Thanks for answering my question.
