 True personally I'm not found of the gamecube controler which is why I like the N64 game better. I still find some of the new characters pretty cool tho cough bowser cough.
Yeah, the Dualshock2 is easily the best controller. The N64 one was better...

Actually, I prefer Melee over the previous SSB because of more character reponsiveness. I had been playing SSB for a long time before I switched over. When I first played SSBM, I also thought that it wasn't that much better from the original, but after months of playing SSBM, and then going back to play the 64 version, I realized that the first SSB was much more sluggish and wasn't quite as intense as SSBM. Ya, I'm a hardcore SSB player :?

I never said it wasn't better (except for the god-damn GC controller). Just not by much. It wasn't a good sequel, its just like a remake.

Ya, I didn't buy the game thinking it was gonna be a sequel, I really didn't find anything wrong with the first one anyway. And ya, the GC controller felt a little awkward to begin with, like the Xbox controller too, but I kinda just got used to it after awhile.

(except for the god-damn GC controller).
Finnaly someone understands. Altho I've heard there is a way to use your ps2 controller on the gamecube using this box conector thingy. I have no idea how that works tho.

Thats a fact.

Yeah, I bought one of those! It's a lead out of the GC port to the PS2 port out, it's like the PC-PS2 one...

It's not the most reliable of things, but the response time seems fine...

Well, I find there is tons of differences, and a person can't be a pro at the N64 one and just become a pro at the GC one. Everything isn't that much the same. And know the moves is one thing, can you execute them with the precisecity (even a word?) and timing that this new system enables you with?

I don't really see the difference, yes, its smoother, and I master games quickly... so it got too old too fast.

Remember the Simpsons episode with the dolls?

Lisa makes her own doll, except just before they're about to sell it...
