Wow, really? That comment wasn't against you at all. Stirspeare IS good company. I talk to him more than anyone else in the channel.SupaKaream wrote:I think people are trying to go against me, -face palm- i had a feeling this would happen.Ileia wrote:I remember you joining the channel. I commented that I preferred regular kaream. And you left soon afterwards. That being said, Stirspeare will always keep you company. I've yet to be bored by him.
People join all the time and if not entertained within minutes (or even seconds) they leave. Most of the time, they don't even say anything. The ones that make an effort to spark conversation almost always get it (sometimes everyone really is asleep). Ask a question, post a link, do something. Many people join just to pimp their new videos or ask for criticism. Going with what Oto said, it's not just a one-sided deal, you have to contribute a little.
Additionally, there are plenty of avenues of communication here. Members can chat in IRC, the AIM chat, the forums, they use journals, the private message system, even sometimes using opinions and responses to chat back and forth. And as you said, you know editors who prefer MSN. So what's wrong with letting them chat on MSN? It's already working for them, right? I don't see the need for another chat. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.
