This was quite the challenge to put together - especially due to the Anime I used and how the song changes from Hard Rock tempo and Mellows out a bit at the chorus and just seems kinda hard to keep to the same content with such a drastic change. and it seemed kinda appropriate during the opening lyrics to switch to Nyuu from Lucy.

like about 99% of my other videos i did at times try to match the clips to the lyrics - but it seemed kinda hard for alot of it but i tried to make it sorta fit the way the song was going. to me i went through every single episode of the series to try and find parts that i think would fit - let alone fit close to the lyrics. I don't think i could have made this much better aside from if i was a master at the special effects and all i really know is flashing - which i used twice in this video.

I think the song/video starts out strong with the Heavy guitar and all but slows down when the lyrics start to kick in (and if you haven't seen the series you will be completely lost ) but slowly picks up again. a few parts were sped up a little faster then i would have liked but the only was you really fit the whole scene in was to do that so it might look a little stupid at a few parts but i think it gets strong at the end...but that's me.

I found this video really fun.

first it was like black screen, black screen, black screen, naked lady walking... BLACK SCREEN!, then blood, shoots and people running away, +1 for blood-boom synch , but then the amv stops. the rest is 2 minutes of soldier torture, ridiculous funny lyric sync, ( seriously man, you cant kick me, and lucy being kicked or your heart is bleeding and a soldier chest open and his heart fall over another man, think it twice, you should be more emotional than "textual")
btw in edition there is something called editing, basically it means "cut a scene", it thousand times better than speed up a sequence, so it can fit in the video, another epic fail, kids dancing at high speed and a man's head exploding, those image really loses its impact and become a visual joke.

overall you got potencial, you have the idea, it was excecution-failure, but you really have a notion of what to do, just pullish your skills and work hard to express your concept through the amv, PEACE OUT!

well i ment Stated out like hard rock - but not the entire songs - moelty just regular rock - Thanks for letting me know what you think though - and i usually try to post my video on a few other sites so i forgot that putting it in the forum needed the link

This video also wasn't originally my idea cause it was a request from a you-tuber so i accepted their challenge to make a video to this song so i wasn't entirely sure where i wanted to go with this . T

he black screen was flashing with the background kinda shaker/maraca noise. but i tried to consist the entire first part up till the "who's Crying now" with the torture of the main soldier guy because "he doesn't know her at all" or he at least thinks he does up until he's actually fighter her

anyway yeah those few scenes i wasn't sure exactly what to put there so lyric syncing was kinda a secondary idea which i ended up going with cause i couldn't think of anything else to truly fit the scene/lyrics.

anyway i maybe have made close to 30 videos (not all of them are up here) but i am still a noob but as long as people can enjoy my videos for what they are - that's all that matters. I Enjoy making them so that's why i continue to do so - i sometimes have to have my own video grow on me - especially when i had very few eps to work with for a full video (super villain) but i only put them up to see what other think of it to see if they think are good that i feel i can continue with confidence.I

know not every video i do will be as good as others but i like to try my hand at different ideas to see how it will turn out... and if enough people like it here or on you-tube then i may even submit them to conventions for a chance of seeing it on a big screen.

even if i don't win if it gets shown in even the final 35 or however many the con has - that's all that matters...though i have yet to make it to a con where they have actually shown my video in the finals but i'm still trying to achieve that.

But yeah i'm typing to much so I'll leave it at that and if even 1 person enjoys my video then that's good enough.
