Tomorrow:
Moonlight shades shower that delightfully covers the fields
oh a sorrowful farewell now slowly fades away
Aah because today I’ve decided to stay with my peers
A promise of better tomorrow will certainly come
Tomorrow we will run together anew
Tomorrow we will be shining brightly
Somewhere inside of my heart, a cry of pain,
oh there is this glaring dream, when it comes, do behold a man with awe
Aah today for all time is splendid than yesterday and
tomorrow I have to set out on a voyage to the wide sea
Tomorrow I will be hoisting a large sail
Tomorrow I don’t know where I’m going
Because today I’ve decided to stay with my peers
A promise of better tomorrow will certainly
Tomorrow we will run together anew
Tomorrow we will be shining brightly

Innocente by Delerium is pretty much the saddest thing I've heard in a while..or some song of Tori Amos'....
"If you believe in yourself, eat all your school, stay on milk, drink your teeth, don't do sleep, and get your eight hours of drugs, you can get WORK!"

Oh how convenient. A theory about God that doesn't require looking through a telescope.

I needed to bump this, I know you don't like necro posting but I just want anyone new to the forums to get to participate.
So in other words, one part of the community is waging war on another part of the community because they take their community seriously enough to want to do so. Then they tell the powerless side to get over the loss cause it's just an online community. I'm glad people make so much sense." -- Tab

"Almost Here" by Unbelieveable Truth (Thom Yorke from Radiohead's brother's band). It has to be the most hopeless, emotional song I've ever heard.

I think you're thinking of "Alone Again, Naturally" by Gilbert O'Sullivan. It was the OP for one MI episode- apparently the ratings were sagging and the staff decided they needed to alter the target audience of the show. It didn't go over very well, and 'those responsible have been sacked'. (one of my best friends from college was a serious MI freak). Defintely a good song, though.Kusoyaro wrote:A song from a Maison Ikkoku CD I have...it's a Paul McCartney sound-alike, and I think it's called "Alone Again" or something.
Probably the saddest song for me is "O Danny Boy" (yes, the folk song to Londonderry Air ). It's a sad to start off with, but it's inextricably linked to the death of one of someone I knew in High School. We found out about his being killed right before band rehearsal started, and Danny Boy was the first song we played. To this day I can't play it or hear it without my eyes tearing up.
