Has editing become more or less fun?

Puh... I don't know. At the beginning there was the fascination of something new. Now it's an old hat.

I have to say that I had to redefine what I want to achieve with my videos and in which editing direction I want to go. I choosed "less sync is more" and I get more and more happy with the new videos. Frustration is comeing when things don't work or don't turn out how you imagined and it really screws the fun badly. When I get ideas while I edit and they turn out great than it really gets fun. The final product is always worth the frustration.

Its always been fun for me. Editing is only stressful when there is pressure involved, and from past experiences, ive learned to avoid that ;p

If it wasnt fun, i wouldnt waste my time doing it. Plain and simple.

Yeah, I hate the process of editing, or more accurately the technical/mechanical part of it. I always enjoy the results though.

I have never enjoyed actual editing. I like fucking with people. Those two facts combined explain almost every video in my profile.

Editing is less fun because of time. I used to have the time to edit everyday if I wanted, but now I'm lucky to get time once week. So, in that time I feel pressure to get alot done, and it becomes frustrating ... then I end up closing just my editor and watching anime or Bravo.

That's a very good point that also applies to me.

I still think editting is fun, but it's different now. It involves some pain before you reach some sort of satisfaction because I'm always aiming for something new, either creatively or technically, and frustrations do creep in when it's like this, particularly when it just doesn't seem to be good enough.
