pretti much the only time i can edit and finish something is when i have been drinking alcohol.
its very rare that i drink, and rarer that i edit nowadays.

I drink Crystal Light while editing, but I generally don't eat. It takes up too much time from my hands. If I have to stop to eat, I'll do something else (check Facebook, forums, etc.) until I'm done, then go back to editing.

Depends what stage of editing I'm in.

If I'm just planning, listening to music, organizing clips... I'll eat whatever is in the kitchen;
chips, cookies, fruit... this one time I ate a bucket full of watermelon [pre-cut into chunks]

But when I'm putting clips onto the timeline, it's like the rest of the world stops.
