I'll watch anime I hate and listen to music I despise, and might still like an AMV produced from both of those. There is no meaningful answer to your question. It is all about the quality of editing. Make the music important, and it will be important, and whether I like it or not on its own merits is irrelevant.

this is very ture but in that past when i went looking for hip hop amvs to like get a idea on what to do they sucked sooooo bad , but with stlyles of beyond many people have used them in amvs befor but the songs they used kinda of had a like a rock theme going to it.
