That is absolutely amazing.

The possibilities in design work of any kind (especially in home and garden remodeling) are insane.

EDIT: They've also managed to turn photoshopping into something more akin to a single action than a painstaking multi-hour process.

It's good to see this technology finally get put to use in practical real world applications. I saw a demo of this stuff a couple years ago but it didn't seem like they had any plans of making the actual programs/algorithms available to the public. Guess they were waiting for the best bidder. Photoshop seems like the obvious candidate.

I wish I could find the video of them using similar practices but with video. Something involving combining video with high-res HDR/RAW still photos to not only enhance the quality and resolution of the video but to do some amazing masking, re-texturing, depth-mapping, etc. Anybody remember that?
