I think someone's just jealous because they couldn't make a site that gets hundreds of thousands of hits per day. Maddox does, in fact, cover topics that a lot of people don't bother with. Perhaps if you would have looked through the site instead of just forming a judgement based on a small portion of it you would have known that.UncleMilo wrote:Look.
The next Star Trek movies is coming out soon. People like this ass are going to write all these same, overused, tired and Saturday Night Live level jokes about Trek Fans.
Then we'll hear the same thing again about Star Wars fans and fans of The Lord of the Rings fans
We've only been hearing these kind of jokes for over 20 years at least
and they haven't changed
and I once heard about the rule of 3 with jokes.
Once can be funny
Twice is less funny
Three times and it is just annoying.
So... over and over for twenty plus years is dead and rotting.
Just because someone new has written this doesn't make that person clever or interesting.
I wonder why you want to post it twice...
Can it be that you have such a short attention span that the same joke is just funny to you over and over and over... or are you just stupid?

hes just touchy because he feels hard done by and picked on by people.
'someone doesn't like anime and makes stupid stereo types, and i'm too full of myself to take it as a joke so I'm gonna cry like a LITTLE WIMP.' lighten up. O_o has my full stance on the issue.

Wow, I'm just thankful that I do indeed find many things about Japanese culture to be extremely weird and definitely not cool. But being a nerd and being cool can go together just fine. I mean, I'm not Mr. Popular, but I'm not being shunned by society, either, and I like nerdy things just fine. People that are the ultra nerds aren't bad people, of course, they just give the rest of us bad names and stereotypes (the Comic Book Guy from the Simpsons comes to mind)

Eh, I probably should have included that the "ultra nerds" are by far and away the vast minority. And anime is becoming more popular and mainstream, and it's not so rare to find "jocks" watching things like Evangelion and Trigun.

Well that isn't what Maddox says, and his site gets hundreds of thousands of hits a day so you MUST be wrong.
So in other words, one part of the community is waging war on another part of the community because they take their community seriously enough to want to do so. Then they tell the powerless side to get over the loss cause it's just an online community. I'm glad people make so much sense." -- Tab

yes, but the fact that it is entertaining does not make what he says true.
