Screwed up Families

I was thinking of a video using Soultaker, relatively unused anime, with "Family Portrait" by Pink. Mostly the video is going to focus on screwed up relationships between family members and such. Soultaker has more twisted family relationships than any other anime that I've seen but I was thinking that I'd need to use another series to offset the mood of the video. Something else also dealing with family issues, but not quite so dark and disturbing as Soultaker. Any suggestions as to what I could use?

In love hina, almost every character has a family member come in and try to take them away from the series. And they almost all have split up parents. That's the closest thing I can think of.
