*Ahem* What we have here is not jus' a simple troll. No, our friend Matrix here is what we call a Delusional Upstart (Trollus Rebelious Grandiosus)
These individuals tend to enter forums an' other internet meeting places and imediately make a very general and seemingly ignorant insult at what he believes is a minority or status of ridicule in the comunity in an attempt to sound more informed than that group an' win over what he believes is the majority.
Now, in this case, Matrix made a swipe at AMV creators over the age of 20. Some things we can assume about Matrix from this info alone.
1) Matrix is a newbie
2) Matrix talks before he thinks
3) Matrix doesn' watch many AMVs
4) The AMVs Matrix probably DOES watch are mos'ly DBZ an' are made by other newbies, thus skewing his view of what good AMVs are like.
5) Matrix does NOT do his research before making general comments.
Other interesting observasions about this subject:
He tends to babble, hence the incoherient remarks about why AMVs aren' on MTV an' what 'real' MVs are. This comes from a sad combination of shooting off one's mouth then refusing to admit he/she was wrong, causing the subject to constantly try to defend one stupid remark wit' more stupid remarks resulting in a long chane of stupid remarks.
He says he doesn' "Just like DBZ", then defends his fandom honor by listing all the other animes played on cartoon network. This, while in itself isn' a BAD thing (I like Tenchi Muyo too, dammit), is' a common move by newbies who labour under the assumption that anime is made up of about 12 shows.
His grasp of internet 'warefare' is extremely lacking, considering how many holes he leaves in every remark he makes. Although only time will tell, I'd wager that he'll never grasp it either.
All in all, Matrix Saiyan is a prime example of of the proverbial filth of the otaku comunity. Not only do they NOT contribute, they also annoy the hell outta everyone else as well as those who do. It is my professional opinion an' deepest desire that someday these subjects will be hunted down an' have their hands irreparebly smashed with large mallets so they can never use a keyboard again.
Thank you an' remember, tonight's homework assignment is a 1600 word essay on why stupidity should be a crime punishable by death.
Class dismissed.

Im a full time Fire Fighter/Emergancy Medical Technition and Hazardous Materiels Technition, graduated top of my class in both respective acadamys (each 2 and a half times longer than army boot camp and just as tough), have attended countless tech rescue courses etc etc., and during the whole time going through all of these things, still manage to make music videos. Your theory does not hold water, but that is to be expected from sombody that still needs milk money from mommy and daddyMatrix Saiyan wrote:ok heres what I have to say I do not see myself makin' vids at whatever age. I plan to go to college (which I already have chosen) and a profession well beyond and away farrrrrrrrrr away from this subject or topic. So Bye!
To refer back to the original post, he says mvs not amvs, so yes its so sad all those music video makers with millions of dollars in their budget making more money off one video than most of people make in a yearMatrix Saiyan wrote:Gosh people 20 and over still make mvs? god i have so much pity on them.
Heh, a move right outta 'Artful Doger's' profile. Funny, I didn' think people actually TRIED that move in real lifeMachine wrote:Matrix Saiyan wrote:hey dont say Jesus fucking christ! I believe that is an insult to my beliefs!
