I'm new here. And one thing has become painfully obvious to me here; for every two AMVs on the site which can be downloaded, there are about three which cannot. If an AMV has no available downloads, why is it still listed on the site? This seems to accomplish nothing other than to result in unsuccessful "success" when searching; is there some logic I'm missing here?

Because this is not a site for downloads. It is a site for cataloging every AMV ever made. The downloads are just a bonus.

Irregardless, when this site was first created it's goal was to catalogue every amv, ever created. Or at least try to. Thus you're not required to to host a video on the server to make an entry on the site.

Use Super Search. Change the download drop down menu from 'all' to 'downloadable'.
