CANAAN - "The land of hope, eh?"

Hello there ^^ Finally a new release, it's been a while since my last serious entry. This again is simple but I still like it and a friend of mine asked me to give her a DL link, so I thought I could just upload it here...

Edited with Final Cut Express, sorry for the .mov container, my MPEGStreamclip messes around with me.

Description:
This video is about the Anime CANAAN, a really nice Action TV-Show with the girl Canaan in the main role. I started watching it a while ago and really enjoyed it. This video is dedicated to my friend SilentMoonsiren (Aurora on a-m-v.org) basically that's why I chose the Anime. Well and the fact that i adore the song and thought it would fit.

I am basically a raw editor and as I threw in this quick project because I was tired of masking and all my other projects, this is simple. However, I had a lot of fun doing it and I like how it came out. Audio-wise I have to admit that some of the quotes weren't completely clean because of the BG music. I did my best to clean it, so please don't tell me it is sloppy, I know that :D
However, I am really happy about feedback and constructive critizism concerning the video and editing.
Still I hope you will enjoy it!

Three things more to add:
1. The quality of the player sadly sucks. Dunno why.
2. It was difficult to work with the song as it has no real climax. I tried to get one with adding quotes. So for this purpose, please
3. Turn up your volume  The song is ten times as impressive....

lol.

It was pretty good. The editing was nice, but the story was incomprehensible to anyone who hasn't seen the series, and the mood clashed at points. There was also garbage date on the right of the screen the whole time.

Still nice to see CANAAN and E.S. Posthumus getting some love though. :>

I liked it... I have a question though. Aren't they like less than 10 episodes into showing the series?

I saw no such thing...

This amv was really good. I think that you should have waited till more of the series had been aired, but you did an awesome job at using the little but of video source that is currently available (7 episodes at the time of this post and probably 5 or 6 episodes while you were making this).

I give this amv a 3.7 out of 5

Oh and yeah......the whole thing about everybody being named Canaan didn't get explained till the episode that just aired. So since you actually put in dialog, this amv would definitely be confusing to anyone who hasn't seen the series.

First of all thanks to all of you ^^

Yes, you are right, the story is difficult. However, I did it on purpose that I left some things unclear as I didn't want to spoil people who haven't watched it yet (my subs in YT xD). That's why I tried to make it look like Maria died, haha xD Didn't work probably. Whatever, I love E.S. Posthumus and CANAAN, glad you do, too :3
garbage date? There shouldn't be such a thing, it is clean actually ô.o

As far as I know, 13 or 12 episodes are to be released.

Thanks ^^ It was a project out of the blue, I didn't want to wait :D But you are probably right, could've waited. However, I simply wanted to make a present for someoe so it's fine ^^ I had 5 episodes back then.
And this thing with Alphard named 'Canaan' too wasn't too clear to me back then. It thought she was simply fooling around. When I found out that she killed Siam I wanted to punch her so, so, so, so, so badly. Probably that's why I also got down to do this amv right in that moment: The feelings were still so strong, haha.
