1:1 WIP
I have completed a full beta of my current AMV and I wish for someone to review it and give me some advice on ways I can improve it. In exchange for your aid I shall review an AMV you send me. (I will not review Yaoi, Naruto, Linkin Park, or Rap).
If you accept my deal, I will PM you a link to my video and you shall leave a link to your video in this thread…..
Anime: Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core & Advent Children
Artist: Yellowcard and Song: 'Believe'

Re: 1:1 WIP
I downloaded it.
One looks good as a quality output but has some cropping to do and the other one has jagged lines in every scene (look at 1 minute). I haven't seen both the sources but they did appear different like one is a game. There was a quite a bit of scenes that had subs in it
. The song seems faster to me then the video ;/. Not much sync stood out to me throughout this video to be honest but 03:10 and 03:30 did. The video felt like it could be greater if just touched up on sync and a bit more story.
[0:43-0:49] is where you lacked sync and even a big impact on the beat.

Re: 1:1 WIP
The video is from Crisis Core,a prequel to Final Fantasy VII. It is a PSP game. The subtitles are in a lot of the cutscenes. You can't really find any video from the game without them. If anybody knows a place where he could find some of the same scenes without subs it would help but I haven't been able to. I suggest perhaps a border of some kind along the bottom to hide them or something if you can't find non-sub versions. I saw some good sync in the video. 3:30 did particularly stand out but I saw a lot of sync in the video. As far as story goes, its pretty obvious if you've played the game.

i'm replying here instead of in my thread
ok thank god for someone making a FFAC X crisis core and not using the old fightscenes, you used heaps of footage in this that hasn't been in tonnes of other vids, it was almost like "not" watch a ffac vid XD
I like you story line but i do think it could benefit from a more clear villian or triumph, you show zack being assraped but no reason why or by who (we all know by who but thats besides the point :p) it sort of builds up and doesn't go anywhere.
Subtitles, you can remove them in either your editing program or virtual dub when preparing your footage (or in your avs scripts if you are using them).
there are also some tv noise style scenes, now nothing wrong with them really except their placement they dont sync to anything at all they are just randomly on the timeline same thing for almost all the sync i really needs alot of work, When the music hits so should the action and scene changes but they dont. best example i can give you is 0.06 when BAM goes the music... it's still on the same slow scene as before. And before that in the first 6 seconds when the music is slowest you have fast scene changes and cuts.
Does this make sense?

Both of your OP's are on the way, I am working on them diligently trying to make sure that they are presentable. They will be up once I am done with them...
