No one will look down upon you if you enter every AMV contest that exists. Until you start winning

You enter an AMV contest, and you lose all AMV cred.

Generally if you win at a few large cons then I think you should stop there, vice versa if you enter many small cons and win. When you think your winning too much generally, just stop.
It's unfair to those that try hard, rarely enter (let alone be a local) and don't win anything.

Don't do it for the prizes..
