Id have to say dbz has the biggest fanbase...Cowboy Bebop and Inu Yasha are proly close behind..Gundam as well...damn theres so many!!

Evangelion is probably the best anime because it has such a variety of catagories: Comedy, drama, comedy, mystery and so on. Eva is one of those series that you cant watch over and over but is good to watch once every 3 months or so. DBZ has a big fan base, true, but it is mostly younger children and teenagers. This means they dont make as much in video sales. Toonami is already feeling the heat from the prospect of an Anime Channel, since DBZ is their only heavy hitter, they will probably get a few new animes but that wont help too much.

Meh, I'm not a big EVA fan. The ending kinda ruined it for me. That and I think Cowboy Bebop is a better microcosm of all genres (humor, action, drama, horror, etc).

EVA to me was...lunatic, insane, drama, drama, smoke weed, lunatic, ect, ect...im not a huge fan myself

I have hardly seen many anime shows, since I am a nebie (and not ashamed!) I like DBZ. I have seen Cowboy Bebop and a couple others, but not enough to even know the storyline. The only other anime(s) I have enjoyed in the past were Digimon and even earlier, uhh uuhhh, ..........pokemon, (takes deep breaths)
