I don't have exact numbers but over the past 9 1/2 years, between dvds, cds, computer equipment (laptop, two computer builds and various upgrades and repairs), software, and travel... I'm gonna say it's well above $10,000. I could use that right now... I DEMAND A REFUND!

Hardware/software/DVD/con expenses-wise, probably around $4,000. It's funny how you can rationalize these things, though: oh, I need a better computer. Oh, I always wanted to own this series. Oh...I really DO need three external hard drives for backup purposes...

Then I figure in what it cost me to slip and fall on the steps on the way to a con where my AMV was being shown, and that figure rises by another $1,500 or so (and counting), which is my out-of-pocket expenses not covered by my health insurance. Making AMVs has been literally hazardous to my health.

Well, I generally didn't originally buy DVDs with the full on intent of editing to it, but everything I own is fair game... Then we calculate 3 PCs into the mix, the monitors, all the hard drives, the sound systems, and all of that... then we start tacking on traveling and such related to AMVs because of cons that I only goto because of AMVs...

Yeah, I'm in the $10k+ range
