I've never bought anything with the express point of using it to edit. So my editing expenses would be $0.

It's not everything the laptop. The lappy has: 2x2.64 Ghz (Intel), 500GB with 5400rpm harddisc, 15.4" monitor, and a 9400GT Nvidia with 512MB.guy07 wrote:3710€ bauzi? seriously? You must have one sweet ass rig ....
Right now I would like to add an eSata or Firewire 800 PCI express card in combination with an damn awesome Western Digital Studio Edition external harddrive.

You can find me on YT under "Bauzi514". Subscribe to never miss my AMV releases.

Re: This ain't a free hobby - UPDATE
Let's see...first pc cost around 1400$...new rig was 805$, bought around 100$ worth of dvds....an external harddrive for 100$, bought 2 other internals for this pc..probably around 350$ or so for the 2 of them, bought more ram for this rig for another 150$ or so, and bought a gfx card for this pc which ran about another 150$. Bought way too many blank dvds/cds to count.
So easily around $4,000 USD. Probably a good bit more that I didn't count.

I'm in roughly the same boat as ZS.
All in all I'd say I spend about $8000 if not more on the hobby. Probably more like $13/14k if I include all the traveling I did thanks to/because of it.

Well, since my parents paid for my rig and shit since I'm a little nigger boy. I spent about 30-40 dollars. On the 3 DVDs I bought.
But in my mom and dad's expense, around $850. So not much.

I can't really say I spent any money on this hobby. The lappy I use was intended for school and gaming. All the anime I baught was for the sake of owning it cause I like it, haven't baught any just to edit with it.
Well I baught an external for the sake of morePron more storage space cause of this hobby. So 100$ I guess
?
Well I baught an external for the sake of more

Though it might change in future, if I ever manage to go dual-screen.
