A world without amvs would be a world where all of us would be even less productive. Don't fool yourself into thinking that you would use the extra time to study. it probably would be wasted playing WOW.
Oh and, "you"tube would be %10 smaller.

Re: A world without AMVs :O
Puh... though one at some parts, but I can figure out where I could be without amvs:
-Makeing games. I had two main hobbies and I quit this one because of a really bad community/forum (that just got on my nerves) and because I wanted to spent more time on amvs. Maybe I would still be makeing rpgs.
-More gameing.
-Hardly interessted into media stuff.
-A whole different taste in music.
-Working as a frustrated programmer (wich I only want to change because I know that video is much much more my cup of tea)
-I wouldn't visit anime conventions and I wouldn't have met tons of cool people
-I might wouldn't be into anime. I don't know if the small video clips or amvs finally got me into it.
At least I know that streaming sites wouldn't be poluted with crappy amvs.

lol
I can't imagine what I would have bought with all the money that I spent because of amvs.

I wouldn't have one

Not AMVs in particular but the people I've met through them honestly gave me a reason to live

Without AMV I wouldn't own half the animes and music CD's I own today. It would be bad for the industry.

Re: A world without AMVs :O
I'd still be wondering "what do I want to be when I grow up" >_<
I'd have no one to go for coffee with in the fall.
I wouldn't have met the great people I have.
I never would have had to figure out where to put a 6'5" Australian for a week.
Or had an extra house guest for months.
However, I would be closer to having enough money to put a down payment on a house.
Seriously though, amvs taught me I am capable of much more then I thought. When I think I've pushed myself as far as I can, I can always go further, try harder and do better.
So really, they have improved every area of my life.
