Submissions are now closed. Those who have been given FTP accounts will still have until September 15th to upload their videos. Contestants who have been approved will be receiving an e-mail next week with more information on the contest. A finalist list will be provided on a-m-v.org and the Tekkoshocon / KuroKiiro forums before the start of the convention.

The first annual KuroKiiro Festival AMV Contest is now accepting submissions. Please see below for the AMV Contest rules and submission information. The final submission deadline is September 15th, 2009, although we will need your e-mails and mailed entries by September 12th in order to qualify for the contest.

There really is no condensed version. The above are pretty much the same rules you would find in any other AMV contest, with only a few key differences.

It's only 3-1/2 weeks to the absolute deadline, and we still need more videos for the competition.

There's a lot of reasons to enter any contest, but this one is ready to go the extra mile. Even though the final award categories will definitely depend on the amount and type of videos received, we will have some great awards to hand out to all of our all our winners. And there will be nice select prizes in it for the winners, as well. We may be a first-run contest, but behind it is a coordinator who will make sure that your videos will play nicely and cleanly, giving you the best chances to win over the crowd with your video idea.

Just 2 weeks to go until the deadline, and we need videos! Just submit your video descriptions to amvcontest@tekkoshocon.com and you'll get your access data for the FTP site.

Please note: If you do not or have not heard back from me within 24 hours of sending an e-mail, then please PM me here with the details, and I'll get right on to providing you with FTP.

Also, if you don't want to upload to FTP, you can either mail in your submission, or point us to where we can download your video and provide us the submission details by PM.

I can get something done by the end of today or tomorrow. Will definitely enter, especially since I just got a new box set to make new AMVs. I'm not going to put it up on the ORG until after the contest is over.
