Right, so I'm making an AMV to Weird Al's "It's All About The Pentiums, Baby". I was going to sync it to Serial Experiments Lain, because it seems like such a perfect fit, but now I'm considering using Chobits instead. Hence the purpose of this "poll". Do you think I should use Serial Experiments Lain, Chobits, or a combination of the both?

It sounds like there won't be much of a story line or character profile, so I think you should just focus on getting footage that fits the best by using any source you could find.

Sounds like a good fit. But since you're aiming for a COMEDY amv. It'd be better to use more Anime References. Cause if you stick to just ONE anime, it might be harder to entertain the said audience. (e.g. Death Note fans won't really like a Naruto AMV compared to a Death Note AMV)

If you've seen Vlad's We Need You. That's a PERFECT example of a Comedy amv. It's an AMV MOST people could relate to. Why? because of the reference.

Though It'd be harder to sort through, I think using all of the said animes would be more interesting.

Like the guy who posted above me said... they already made one to Chobits. What i'd do is research on AMVs already made with your music. And then see what could be improved and try to get better ideas.

@Pat: Good advice, thanks. But, it's not necessarily a 'comedy' AMV. It could be an 'upbeat' AMV as well, more likely.
