It's been brought to my attention that the AVI I uploaded isn't producing video. Therefore, I have had it deleted and replaced with an mp4 that should work:
I have been reluctant to release it to the 'org, but this is the only way it seems I can get feedback on it.
Since no one will respond in the Suggestion forum, I'm looking for some here. Is there any way to make it more WTF without going overboard? What can I do with the yellow ball? Is there anything that can be changed to improve on this theme (going for upbeat as well)?
Constructive criticism...go!

Needs more pointless org references, like mitch is pants. And a little more effort wouldn't have hurt. Sorta seemed like you just slapped it together. But at the same time, comedy never seems as funny if you actually try ... i got a chuckle, but it's a really forgettable amv.

The editing was cute.
The masks were rough.
The overall theme of it was fun and amusing to watch.
The quality was horrible.
There were black borders around the video which was annoying.
Fishes. Hyperactive Girls. Annoying Music.
Overall =

Code I spent a couple hours trying to figure out how to ditch black borders in my creation. First time of course.
But haven't you edited before deuceloosely?
I mean really. You should know this stuff.

This is why I come here. I need to hear from people. I don't really have anyone around to preview these things. Also, I don't see as well as the average person so I miss things sometimes.Hacchin wrote:But haven't you edited before deuceloosely?

Masks?..there are still some terms I'm not familiar with.

The border problem happened when I did the keyframe sequence with the rolling fish heads. I did all the frames, isolated the scene, rendered it (probably to the wrong resolution), and dropped it back into the timeline.
As far as the visual quality, that happened when rendering to mp4. The AVI wouldn't display video, according to everyone else, so I had to replace it. I can't predict what these videos will look like on others' media players when they play fine on mine, especially when I'm using a common codec set (DivX).
Anyway, these problems are all fixable. I won't be competing this for some months yet so there's time to work with it.
So we have borders, masks, and quality (visual, I assume?)...it did come straight off DVD, though. Well,...anything else I could do?
