So like ... that's possibly the most offensive movie in the world. I watched it (alone, thank god) and really had no idea if i should start laughing, crying or getting angry ... i settled for laughing.
Was anybody else brave enough to see it? Do you regret watching it? I'm sort of glad I watched it ... but i'd never watch it again. lol

Re: Bruno
I liked the humor of Borat and also admired it's way of making social commentary. I've been told by people I trust that Bruno fails at being funny or making a point. I might download it later if I hear some decent reviews, but so far it's looking bad.

Re: Bruno
You make it sound like laughter in this instance is an insincere reaction, that it's simply masking our true emotions. Oh wait...
Anyway, I saw it opening weekend. Never heard a louder movie theater... partially because I was making such a ruckus myself.
Afterward, my brother asked me if I wanted to see it with his group of friends. My reply:
...they ended up not seeing it. =(
They couldn't convince the girls to go.

I saw it last night (this morning?). It is definitely a new benchmark as for what this generation considers grossly inappropriate. Yet for some reason I could not contain myself, nor could anyone in the theater. Hilarious, yet repulsive, all at once. I cannot recommend it, even though I really want to.

But seriously, not too interested in seeing it in the theater. Kinda meh when it comes to Sacha Baron Cohen's brand of humor. But I'll probably catch it on DVD.

Bah. My friends pussied out on me. >.>
But I still have to do something really gay and austrialian. I guess that means I have to work on project editor round 2 tonight and watch Crocodile Dundee.
