III Aniraise AMV Contest

Hello everybody! We are organising our fourth Manga convention in the south of Spain (IV Salón del Manga de Cadiz), and we would like to invite you to participate in our Third AMV contest.

1.- Entries per person are limited to 2 videos. All videos must have been created after October 6th, 2008.

2.- Digital video file formatting requirements::
- Avi, DivX, Xvid, mpeg, mpeg2, mp4, h264 or wmv.
-Frame Size: 640x360 or higher
-Audio PCM WAV (44.1 kHz or 48 kHz), MP3 (128kbps or Higher) or ACC (96kbps or higher)
-2 seconds of blank space must be added at the beginning and ending of the AMV

3.- The contest will be Freestyle and will be accepting anime and japanese videogames AMVs.

4.- Running time may not exceed six (6) minutes.

5.- Entries may not contain bumpers/title screens/credits separated from the main editing work (ex: staffroll with different music) but the video doesn't have to be anonymous. Subtitles are also forbidden.

6.- Entries will be sent via e-mailed to the following: amvaniraise@gmail.com (send a link to download the video along with the entry form

7.- Entries must include the entry form.

8.- Entries will be evaluated by a jury of 5 members of Aniraise.

9.- Disqualifications:
Bad Audio or video quality.
Objectionable contents (excessive violence, sexually explicit footage or lyrics, racism, or lack of moral in any sense).
Presence of bumpers/title screens/credits and/or subtitles.

10.- The judges resolution will be given to know during Saturday October 3 2009 during the IV Salón del Manga de Cádiz at the Movie Theater. Results will be made public at the IV Salón del Manga de Cádiz website: http://www.aniraise.com

11.- The winning entries will be screened along with the best entries presented at the IV Salón del Manga de Cádiz. There will be 3 prizes for the International category and 3 for the national:
-First Prize
-Second Prize
-Special mention
Any of the prizes can be declared deserted if considered appropriate. If not able to be present at the event and have won any of the prizes, they will be sent via mail to you.
If the number of entries does not reach a certain limit, the national and international categories would be substituted by a single category (with first and second prize and special mention).

12.- Entries submission deadline is Friday September 18, 2009

13.- The organization will not be held responsible in any case for loss or damage of any of the material sent.

14.- Anything not mentioned in these rules will be resolved by the judges.

15.- Participation in this contest means total acceptance of all of its rules.
