Is this allowed?
Can I post MVs from video games, and not just anime?

Re: Is this allowed?
Depends on the video game. Stuff like Final Fantasy is allowed, but things like Gears of War is not. IIRC, you can use cutscenes, cinematics and fmv's...and I think you can use gameplay footage if it's less than 50% of the mv (wait until someone else confirms this though)

Here's what the site's definition of Anime and AMV about video games
Doesn't say anything about gameplay footage as Kariudo points out, so would probably have to wait for someone to confirm that.Site Definition of Anime and AMV wrote:In order for a video game title to be accepted as anime, it must meet the following criteria:
• Games must be made in Japan under the control of a Japanese company.
• Games must be in the style and spirit of anime (not based on North American or other country icons).
• The game may premiere outside of Japan so long as the above criteria is met.
Examples: Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi, Final Fantasy 7, Kingdom Hearts, Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence, Resident Evil
Games are a very fuzzy and grey area as they are ever evolving, so for now the above criteria is what we’ll use and re-evaluate it as required.
