Please can you review confirming Spawn 3 The Ultimate Battle

Post by RealGoneKid » Sat Jul 11, 2009 5:27 pm

Just wondering if its possible to get Spawn 3 The Ultimate Battle confirmed as Anime, there were a few Spawn entries marked as unconfirmed, I was wondering why this would be so, The movie had real actors in and this is Todd McFarlane, so surely this can be classed as Anime, Please contact me with your verdict. I'm pretty sure Spawn is an American franchise directed towards an American audience.

So, I'm guessing that is a no way, I honestly didn't realize there would be restrictions like that, some computer games like Sonic The Hedgehog are surely not Anime, Street Fighter, Resident Evil and the likes I can understand, But Sonic Unleashed on PS2, Sorry! I do apologise just hoped this would not be the case, Thank you for your quick response. RGK.

The "Spawn" HBO animation series was an American franchise, yet the animation for it was done over in Korea. So it is Asian animation but English dub track only.

Well, as per the official site description:

http://www.animemusicvideos.org/forum/v ... 14&t=63288

The caveat here is that it had to be made in Japan and marketed primarily for the Japanese market, be it anime or game. I think some things inevitably look odd on the list, but hey, the line has to be drawn somewhere...
The Birds are using humanity in order to throw something terrifying at this green pig. And then what happens to us all later, that’s simply not important to them…

The same can be said for any number of American cartoons including The Simpsons and Family Guy. Korean inkers are easily-exploitable, cheep foreign labor that reduce production costs for animation studios. This is completely tangential to the point that Otohiko pointed out.

Thank you once again, and especially for pointing out the exploitation, I was completely unaware and now I am educated on the matter, Good Anime though, it was perfect for my video, If you are interested the video can be viewed via an external host here (Disturbed-Voices Edit) http://www.megaupload.com/?d=6R524BKZ
(Dope-Now Is The Time Edit) http://www.megaupload.com/?d=6VQ7QS11
The reason for two versions is that "A popular video upload site" would not allow the Disturbed-Voices audio track to be used.
Thanks for all responses to this matter. RGK.

Is does not matter where is is animated or worked on, what is inporatant is who has the controlling factor... So long as it's the Japanese, then it's considered anime. There are always a few exceptions, but those are on a case by case basis...

Again thanks for all your help. RGK.
