Also was wondering what ratio I should use - I do want to use the footage from the TV series like I did, and then switch to OVA - it would fit if it coincided with the change to her being a vampire. And the shots from the TV series are what I wanted.
So, widescreen 16:9 or regular 3:4?

Video and sound quality are high. I like 3:4 ratio but I don't know anything. ^^; It would be best if someone with more experience gave you an opinion, but it looks like no one's biting, so you're stuck with mine. XD
I like the synching at 0:05 with Seras hitting either Andy or Eugene. I like the appearance of Alucard when Lady Gaga sings "a red..(something". I'm not sure if you're trying to synch with the lyrics or not, though, or if you're just doing it where it fits, like at 00:39: "I can't see straight anymore". That was a really eye-catching part, and I like how everything's hazy but in the background the clips are moving very fast. The blood bursting at the cymbal crash at 00:49 is also fun. I also like how you show Alucard when she says, "Just dance."
Getting back to the ratio, do you want to highlight the old series of the OVA? If the clips from the TV series is just intro, I guess you should use 16:9 to fit the OVA clips, but if the meat of the video is the old series, stick with 3:4.
Also, if you're keeping it narrative-based, the speed is fine. However, due to the nature of the song, if you're synching to the song, you might want either more clips or faster speed, unless Lady Gaga invokes a contemplative mood. XD

Yep, that's right, not on the org. XD And thanks for your opinion. Discussion helps. I think what I'll do is stick to the 4:3 but reduce it so it's the same height as my source footage for the widescreen. Because chopping the 4:3 down would make some effects look bad.

And it's "red one" - that may be the name of the guy performer, idk. (I only know it because I looked up the lyrics)
I don't want to highlight the old series, but I don't want to chop it! (like old before she becomes a vampire, then new afterwards - that transition might work, even though footage quality is different - new is much crisper)
I see what you mean - I might try to put some extra stuff in to make it faster. But I usually make it narrative based. ^^ Could be both!
