Bawwww, it's the very final broadcast episode, episode 13!
Hmmm, I wonder if I should rename the episode title as "Someday in the Cold Winter" or "the Melancholy of the After School Tea Time band (minus Yui)".
Spoiler :
With the cold winter upon them, Yui suggested to the other girls to hang out at her place so they can have a hot pot, but the girls had other stuff to do. Mio went to the beach alone in order to get inspiration on new lyrics, Ritsu has to take her little brother to the movies (I didn't know she had siblings), Mugi had a part time job, and Azu-nyan took care of her friend's cat. I found it interesting that the latter two girls kept their activities a secret from the others.
Some of the girls faced pantry problems which got a bit overblown like
Spoiler :
Azu-nyan panicking over the cat's coughing and Mugi messing up at her part time job. Those moments definitely gave me Marimite vibes on the types of "conflicts" they sometimes face. Ritsu also thought she received cheesy love letters in the mail, and Mio experienced writer's block despite of arriving to the cold, cloudy beach.
It's rather interesting how this episode has all the girls converge back to Yui who seemingly had her usual carefree winter weekend with her wife sister Ui.
Spoiler :
And not to mention she became a "safe-haven" for the girls problems like for instance Azu-nyan didn't know cats can cough up hairballs and the cheesy love letters were actually lyrics Mio made (make that as you will, mwahahaha ).
I say the most important aspect out of this series is that this is also the first series KyoAni where I can make SO MANY yuri slash pairings; not even Lucky Star comes close with it. And with this in mind, I say K-ON! will stick in my mind in longer periods than most people.
Whoever made that really knows how to do things with montage.
The Birds are using humanity in order to throw something terrifying at this green pig. And then what happens to us all later, that’s simply not important to them…
You guys. this is a very forgetable series that actually gains more enjoyment with your BA DMC references lol Sukunai indeed
