The rules said to ask first so...
Would you consider the Korean flash cartoon series, There she is!!, to be acceptable material on this site?

<Kionon> Has to be made, at least, for Japanese audiences.
<Kionon> Basically, since now many anime are made in Korea or China (or even America!) the fact that it is Japanese Domestic Market is considered primary.

<Kionon> There She Is!!! if I recall correctly has hangul, which means it is definitely meant for the Korean Domestic Market.

Not sure why the rule which implies more as though against like-an-anime from America as being the same as anime inspired animation from Korea. Oh well.

There have been productions that have come out for multiple audiences. The Batman anime, and an example. It was intended just as much for the Japanese Domestic Market as it was for the American Domestic Market. I should know; they advertised the hell out of it here in Japan, with emphasis on how and by who it was animated.ZanasoYBayncuh wrote:Not sure why the rule which implies more as though against like-an-anime from America as being the same as anime inspired animation from Korea. However, as stated, I believe that There She Is!! was actually intended primarily for a Korean audience, but even it was intended for the international community as a whole, it was never directly marketed towards the Japanese as something the Japanese had a hand in. Therefore it is not considered anime by the standards of the Org.

Hmm, I guess for that I'd have to respond with this and state that, while I accept that There she is!! is not accepted, that the rule upon which it is denied appears to be in definite need of revision.
Because seriously, BASToF Syndrome should most definitely be accepted here.

Wow, I didn't know there was more than one. I saw the first "There she is" years ago and loved it, but thought it was just a single thing.

Great music video by the way. Some of the clips looked slowed down too much, but it fit the song really well.

In some areas the slow downs were meant to feel dramatic, in others it was because the scene used wasn't quite long enough, but yeah I don't disagree.Zarxrax wrote:Great music video by the way. Some of the clips looked slowed down too much, but it fit the song really well.
Thanks for the compliment
