I miss living in Niagara or Ottawa. In Niagara it was kinda fun cause of the cross-border celebrations in Fort Erie - first year I was in Canada, I actually went to watch the 4th of July fireworks there, that was fun too. And of course the Canadian side would always try to impress the Americans in their turn, and so it'd basically be a 4-day celebration for both countries, on both sides (though I never went over to the US side). In Ottawa, well, I think it's self-evident how Canada day would be huge there

I did nothing this year, in fact I hardly remembered it. I was too busy working - I am really starting to hate the lack of work/free time division that comes with my occupation
