What actually ended up landing me my inventory job (It sucked, but was SOME sort of income) was snagajob.com

I agree, snagajob is very handy. It got me hired at Kohl's two years ago and I'd forgotten I'd even applied there!

As of now, I'm a POS Specialist at Kohl's still, but they should be letting me step back down to cashiering in a couple weeks (I hope).

Yeah. I left the States on December 1st, and I haven't been back even for vacation yet (but I have plane tickets for July 16th-August 1st). I eventually plan to go back to the US for my masters in journalism or philosophy, but then pretty much come back here, so I can move into a higher income bracket.

Japan has been very good to me. My debt is gone, I've some money saved, have generally high quality of life, and I genuinely love my job and my students.

Good luck with the Navy. Been there, done that. A lot of shit, but there were definitely good times to be had. I started my OCS paperwork a few months ago, but it stalled, and mostly was a closure thing with me. I'm not highly motivated to pursue it for obvious reasons.
