Forum rules
Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

Ride on Shooting Star

Post by Adv1sor » Sat Jun 13, 2009 7:00 am

1st place, upbeat category, 2008 Anime Mid Atlantic. (This year I didn't even make the cut!)

I've been going back through my files and uploading some of my old AMVs that were missing from my catalog. :book: This being one of them.

Enjoy!

I think it viewed more like a slideshow than an AMV... not my preferred style of video, because I like when footage in anime is adjusted to fit the song, not just appropriate (in terms of lyrics) images from Google floating around the screen. And effects by themselves don't 'wow' me.

And there was interlacing - this guide could help. If you need help with any of this, after you read the guide you could pop into one of the help sections in the forum (after searching for existing posts that may answer your question)

AMVs are funny things - there's never any standard. :D And individual opinions seem to differ widely, but at least on technical issues, there's more likely to be a consensus.
