I just got it so i'm still test driving it, but it seems like a pretty good set of software. A good alternative to all the microsoft programs.
I really don't care for Open Office's word processing. It's better than notepad, I guess. Either way, I use it mainly just to open .doc files and such, since I don't have Word or any of that stuff.
I hate Open Office with a fiery passion. I was forced to use it at work for a short period of time. Bad things happened.

I used to be an Open Office hater... but the newest version has really changed my mind. Excel is still the better spread sheet... but everything else is pretty comparable.
I'm not rich... I just plan on dying before I retire.

Yeah, Office programs are such a pane.

Try being in a job that requires a lot of spreadsheet work and that tell me not to complain about having to use Open Office.

me+desk job= me going crazy. So that's never gona happen. But I guess I sort of understand that if you didn't have a choice and were using to another program that normal, it could become a pain.
But I had like word perfect from 2002 or something, so anything i get is a improvement lol. I'm cool with it.

Easily? Free does necessarily not equal quality.

You get what you pay for, etc.
