One of the things noted was there were some folks who were confused about the roles of each of the contests and the types of videos or work effort that should be applied.

So what I'm going to help do is make sure theres a dialog on each of the contests we have to make clear its direction.

Expo: You send lots of videos that are too cool for Pro because the haters would just ignore them.

Pro: This is for AMV Ballers only. If you manage to win more than two awards without vote tampering or being an AMV org celebrity then you automatically win the title "tha chosen one"

Just trying to help with any brainstorming that's going on. ^_^

Masters: The best work you can produce -- it's for the jacket!
Exposition: Everything else you edited since last year's AWA.

Pro: The worst of the worst that you made, the video that not even your mother can sit through and say something nice about. After all, if you don't take advantage of a captive audience then no one will see it. There is an allowed sub-genre of shit that is made to be intentionally shit because you hate all other editors and want to make them suffer.

Masters: Pretentious artistic crap of a bird flying or something trivial like that which you think makes you look deep. Then you can feel humiliated when a fairly straightforward action vid wins.
