Just because I'm curious... Your parents (or other various reasons) are stopping you from taking a dollar, putting it in an envelope, and mailing it to the donation address? (though since you're in Canada, you'd have to go to a bank or something to get a US dollar)

I say this because I can understand not wanting or being able to mess around with PayPal or credit cards, but the above seems fairly simple.

My parents are paranoid about sending money through the mail. We don't have access to a credit card or paypal right now.

As for this topic, I would like to make it so no nagging messages are presented if there are no results to display but I have a large laundry list of stuff I want to do and this is honestly way down at the bottom. I'm also a little afraid to look at the code for this... : /

Isn't it a bit excessive to have donation begging on the search results? I mean they are going to see it when they try to download a video. It seems to me like this is something which would simply turn off many potential visitors to the site.

Not that I entirely agree with the following logic, but it can be argued that those who would be driven off by this are the ones who aren't donating anyway while there's a chance it motivates someone to actually donate. With donations not covering monthly costs, encouraging non-donators to not use bandwidth might not be the worst of all ideas.
