They're prosumer software intended for people with some sort of knowledge base. There are some books sold for them, but don't expect to learn everything from them.

If only it would be finished, and have been finished last year when I started, would've eased my struggle. And maybe I might've finished something by now. I only just got the whole thing figured out.Niotex wrote:It's in the works.. sorta.. amv101.

Sorta off-topic, but I wish amvwiki would come back.
Especially the editing divx page.
I linked that page to everyone so I had more to say then "You just can't edit with it BECAUSE"
Only reason I post this here is because I'm pretty sure the creator frequents this forum.
ALSO
After Effects Apprentice = really awesome AE book. Learned a lot from it.
And, just read the manuals for the programs. They're hugeass tomes (assuming you actually bought the software) but they are surprisingly easy to read and are very helpful in doing stuff.
If youd idn't buy the software or "lost" the manuals, you can read the help documents... But... Event hough it's technically the same content it's just not the same...

The normal manuals are horrible reading material. If you're going to be getting books you're better off with third party stuff. Adobe makes awesome software but don't ask them to write a manual for it..

What are you talking about?
The manuals were incredibly easy to understand for me. :/

Guides are written by volunteers, so you have to wait from someone to write one.
