The manly picnic? Guess I'll go do Kenji's route

What's the bad ending, jadecavy?
They're considered endings on the forum for the game, or at least demo endings. In the bad ending Hiseo gets drunk with Kenji, falls off the school and dies. Lol.

Also, spoilers man, watch it.

Vodka for life :ying: .
"The people cannot be [...] always, well informed. The part which is wrong will be discontented, in proportion to [...] the facts they misconceive. If they remain quiet under such misconceptions, it is lethargy, the forerunner of death to public liberty. What country can preserve its liberties, if it's rulers are not warned [...] that this people preserve the spirit of resistance? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time, with the blood of patriots and tyrants."-Thomas Jefferson

It's not working for me. After installing it, it continues to say that "Katawa Shoujo Act 1.exe has stopped working." Anyone know what the problem is?

I had the same issue. From the forum: (others had the same problem on Vista)
The best bet is to try the newest version of Ren'Py: http://www.renpy.org/dl/6.9.2/renpy-6.9.2-sdk.zip
If this starts for you, try creating a new folder below this one and putting /game from the KS installation in it, then selecting it as the working project.

Alright, neither did I at first.

1) Go into your renpy-6.9.2 folder.

2) Create a file named, "Katawa".

3) Go into: C:\Program Files\Katawa Shoujo Act 1

4) Copy the file titled, "Game".

5) Return to your renpy-6.9.2 folder. Enter the Katawa file you created earlier. Paste the Game folder.

6) Run "renpy.exe".

7) Click "select project". Click on Katawa. Click "Launch Project" at the top of the page and the game should start.

Hope this helped!

Thank you very much, works now. But I'm also sort of getting addicted to the ren'py program. (I'm playing around and making my own VN, never done it before so it's sort of interesting.)
