HI I am Shadow, I have been looking for great AMVs everywhere and have found some really good one but while i looked for them they always seemed to be by big shots who do it all the time. So i have decided to start my own AMV contest for amateurs only so us little guys can really show the big shot that we can make good AMVs too.
The Rules are simple just pick a song and anime and go nuts.
There will be two rounds the first will include any body who wants to join the contest, and the second will be for the top 20 who will then make another AMV that will be in guide lines to be set after the completion of the first round.
If you would like to join send your AMV link in a PM by the 1st of July 2009
There is not a prize yet but i am hoping to get a few of my mates to throw in some prizes.
Have fun and please join in it is all for fun and to see how well you can do.

Nitpicking: we're all amateurs here. Nobody is making AMVs for money.

I know that we are all amateurs and that we dont make AMVs for money but not everyone is as good at it as the rest, i know i'm not i havent even had an AMV good enough to release. But i just dont want the people who make the AMV all the time and the one that have one tons of contests to ignore that there is some good AMV editors out there who dont think they are good enough.
Well if you mean for the last round it will be the top 20 who show talent and skill (will be judged by my mates NOT ME)
But if you mean who i think is amateur or not, I'm not i just trust that the people who make AMVs all the time will just sit out and let the new guys and girls in.

I am extending the time for the contest by 2 months, Due to advice that a month and a half is not a suitable time for an AMV contest.
