What's wrong with you guys haha? I constantly see "I just get bored and unmotivated to edit". It doesn't take much effort at all. Seriously, how can you be that lazy.

Depends on what you are creating, some compositions do take a lot of effort. Also, I might speak just for myself now but, don't we all create amv's because we enjoy the hobby? It's not about the effort you put into it while creating something, it's about how you feel about the editing progress. If you feel bored as fuck and get sick of the project while making it, then what's the point?
It's not about laziness it's about motivation and self-satisfaction.

Well sometimes people might find something with the project annoying or bothersome, for example how it's coming out or technical issues.
Sometimes I find myself bored while trying to edit something, which is the sign that makes me exit out the program.
At times, the ideas you have in your head, may not look as good when put on a sheet of paper, you know?

Yeah I'm the same. Although I have yet to make an AMV, I will make probably a few AMVs, although I love filming my own stuff so much more as it makes me feel like I've done more of it.

I try hard but unfortunately, my Hard drive died on me and I had to have the Geek Squad fix it and now that I've got my comp back I can edit Tsubasa Chronicle footage but I have to re-import all my other anime and I haven't finished ripping FMA so I'll have to try hard on editing later. As I have to finish updating my computer and everything else right now.

It also helps to not be so serious with it...I find that when I just go with the flow I have more fun.
