as the title says I have some rather wierd TM problem and have no idea what to do about it

try precomping the matte, or precomping the layer with the matte, one or the other. i think that was a weirdy cs3 bug that's long gone now.
ctrl-alt-shift-c with the layers selected to precomp

well I did precomp it and it works nice now
no any wierd lines in the upper part of the image, kinda simple actually
well thx for da help, now I don't need to do any tricks to make it work
