You are in a maze of twisty passages, all alike.MagickPixie wrote:I dont understand this place its very confusing can someone please explain this place to me before my head hurts anymore than it is
(yay adventure!)
This is AnimeMusicVideos.org. Big database of music videos done by fans of anime for fans of anime. That's all there really is to it.

Well, for one you are in the forums. Not much here except posting, but we like that sort of thing ^_^
Since you have obviously registered, you can login to the main page and access your membership.
I assume you have basic knowledge of anime music videos, saving/downloading video files so I'll cut to the good stuff. After all, why else would you be here?
To get you familiar with the process of finding videos, you can either do a search, or my favorite...click on the new downloads from the membership page.
If you search, type in something basic like your favorite anime.
Any lsiting that has a download link will let you...download the video.
Direct means you just right-click to save.
Indirect takes you somewhere else to download...usually the person's web page.
With a little practice, you too can be an anime junkie.
If you want to make a video, go to the guides page. In fact, go there right now from your membership page and read the things that pertain to you. It's very informative.

^_^
They seem nice, just a little overwhelmed.
Maybe someone should make a 'Getting started on the website' sticky about general navigation, what direct/indirect downloads mean...how to search and where to go for such things. How to use profiles..so on. I know there are things on opinions already.
I am just overly sweet with pie and rice pudding right now too...

Lucky... I'm having cold KFC when my host mom get's home because nobody in Japan understands why we eat Turkey on this specific day. She thinks it's strange, so I get to have KFC.... KFC... chicken... I feel like going home right now. At least I get to learn Japanese during this stupid exchange.

Hmm..turkey..I think the reason we eat turkey on this day has a depressing reason. Personally, I am making a honey glazed spiral sliced ham. And fruit salad to share with family.
I'd trade it to be in Japan with the oppurtunity for immersion style learning though. You probably aren't looking out to a snow covered yard either...brrrr
Sorry to turn your thread into a what are you having for dinner thread Magickpixie....what are you having at your house ^_^?
