I don't even op videos I enjoy. I op, and therefore rate, videos based on how much I am pestered to do so by the video's editor.

Examples can be WOTB, or the Technique Beats, they both got ops like...over 200 or something like that, and obviously they were very "popular" which is kinda part of the point i tried to make with this O: but only part ;O

Sorry, to correct myself the bleach one has only 58, but the naruto one and WOTB stand as great examples still.

My personal OP table:

Originality:

1-3,5 - ripoff
3,5-5 - LBZ and shtuff
6 - typical shtuff like romance without idea
7 - some idea, not performed too well (hard to grasp)
8 - nice idea, something new in a vid
9 - quality, good idea, new point of view
10 - great idea and something new in the AMV world (at least for a moment)

Visual:
1-5 - crappy sources. Minus points for logos, subs, timestamps
6 - visible blocking over the whole vid. Bad source
7 - somewhat worse than 8, or few larger graphics mistake (such as clearly bad mask, etc)
8 - slight(!) dirt or blocking over the whole vid
9 - specks here and there or graphic mistake (see 7)
10 - great clear stuff

This gets shifted based on the age of the vid.

Audio:
1-6 - crappy audio
7-8 - good audio
9-10 - very good audio

Just by a hear. Not having absolute hearing provides me with enjoying almost everything, so 9-10 is fairly usual for me on audio.

Sync:
10 - no mistake
Every approx. 2 mistakes in sync = -1 point.
Yep, pretty harsher on the action vids.
Also, if there's too much sync mistakes, but it's still not failure, I end up with around 5, usually.

Lip/Effects:
Simmilar to sync, just see how it fits. I am much harsher on Effects, though, as they can break the vid more than lipsync, IMO (also, almost everyone learned lipsyncing over these years, but there're still lots of bad effects)

Effort:
1-6 - I feel that the creator just spit this out. Could've used lots of work to finish better
7-8 - There are places where it could've been improved, but overally good stuff.
9-10 - Great stuff, finished and clear.

Overall:
1-5 - vid
6-7 - good vid
8-9 - great vid
10 - ZOMG I LUFFZ THIS VID SOOO MUSH!

Re-watch:
Overall - 1, except for the great concepts, where R-w = Overall.

AFAIK I've never been reported for an all 10 op no matter what I said in the comments. I'd go off on a theory of how that indicates all people really care about is their scores, but most people who I've done this to know it's usually a joke. I guess I can't read too much into people playing along with a joke.

Y'know, in retrospect that kind of fits with my general feeling that 2004-2005 was a peak of sorts around here in terms of the community as a whole. Kind of sad, really.

Considering the pic is clearly labeled '# of users that left ops' I'd hazard a guess that you and vax alone account for 2 of those listed.
