Vegas speed altering issue

This might be a very simple answer, and I'm hoping it is. I'm just learning Vegas to see if I want to switch over from my current program. All the sudden any clips I have altered the speed in won't export (any speed altered clips show as black spaces) and even in the preview window they just appear black. It worked fine before, same video same exact clips same alterations etc. during playback and export. The clips are in different layers and none of which are 'muted'. I'm hoping I just unknowingly clicked something.. any ideas?

Disable the resample on the clips for which you changed the speed. (Right click the clip and it's somewhere in there.)
